The cationic bitumen emulsions HB 40K (W) is used as a preliminary contact spray before hot asphalt works, as a binding layer between load bearing and asphalt wearing layer. The product is applied by spraying. Due to its innate properties it can also be used in the colder time of the year, when the external temperature comes close to 0° C. The product is in accordance with SIST EN 13808 and SIST 1036.
