Single-component water-based polymer-bitumen paste for cold installation
IZOFLEX PASTA is highly elastic, weather resistant and resistant to standing water. It adheres to all types of building materials: concrete, metal, plasterboard, wood, ceramics, glass, bitumen.
No priming of the substrate is required. When applied to concrete, the substrate humidity must be below 3%. Its thixotropic properties make it suitable for use on horizontal and vertical surfaces. Once cured, Izoflex Pasta can be coated with paint, leveling compound, mortar, screed, or a cementitious adhesive (minimum Class C2) as needed.
- Installation procedure: the product is applied in two coats with a trowel, roller or brush. We recommend that a reinforcing polyester felt is embedded in the first coat and a second coat is applied immediately (wet on wet). The curing time is approx. 24 to 48 hours.
- Suitable installation temperatures: between +5 °C and +35 °C.
- Consumption: for two layers without intermediate reinforcement approx. 2.5 kg/m2 with intermediate reinforcement approx. 3.5 kg/m2.
