The IZOELAST REFLEX P5 DIN bitumen waterproofing membrane is used in double- or multi-layer flat roof systems as the finishing layer to protect against wear and UV light. The membrane is protected by a layer of schist aggregate on the top side and by a fusible PE film on the bottom side. It is installed by welding over the entire surface with 10 cm side joint overlaps and 12 to 15 cm butt joint overlaps. It is also used for single-layer resurfacing (renovation). In this case, the base is usually spot-welded, while the joints must be fully welded. The product complies with SIST EN 13707 (finishing layer) and SIST 1031.

To protect the bitumen membranes (reflex membranes), schist aggregate is used, the colour shade of which may vary slightly from one production batch to another. This does not affect the product functionality.
